7. Seoul, Korea & Märchen
Far to the east of Hameln lies Seoul, Korea. When the legend of the Pied Piper is believed to have taken place in 1284, Seoul was still a small regional city of the Goryeo Kingdom. Later, with the founding of the Joseon Dynasty in 1392 and the designation of Seoul as the new capital in 1394, it has remained at the heart of Korea ever since.
As one of Asia's oldest capital cities, Seoul is a place where the past, present, and future exist side by side. Ancient palaces stand among modern skyscrapers, while countless stories continue to shape everyday life.
GrimmMeta begins its Korean journey here. Through Seoul and other cities across Korea, we explore local stories, cultural memories, and the everyday Märchen of modern life.
하멜른의 동쪽 끝에는 서울이 있습니다. 피리부는 사나이 전설이 일어났다고 전해지는 1284년 무렵, 서울은 고려라는 나라의 작은 지방 도시였습니다. 1392년 조선이 건국되고 1394년 새로운 수도가 되었고, 오늘날까지 한국의 중심 도시로 이어지고 있습니다.
